This project consisted of the upfit for an unfinished area in a medical building to include three operating rooms and the requisite pre- and post-operating areas. Electric boilers were relocated to a room inside the facility to better accommodate the required 20-minute inspection when in use. The boilers were sized to accommodate all the required sterilization equipment....

This project is situated in a former garden center of a major retail establishment. The interior slab, partitions and floors were removed and the space redesigned to accommodate walk-in patients, therapy and diagnostics, as well as family practice. New MRI, CT, mammography, bone density and x-ray equipment is included in the facility. The MRI services area included construction of a copper shielding room....

This is new construction of a medical office building. The facility houses 27 exam rooms; rooms for x-ray, ultrasound, bone density, procedures, and labs. There are also six offices, three nursing stations, a conference room and waiting areas. The exterior of the building is brick with EFIS accents....

The Walnut Square shopping center project involved the redevelopment of a former K-Mart. The K-Mart store was converted into an Ulta, Ross, and PetSmart. A new Food City grocery store was constructed on one end of the former K-Mart and an additional store front constructed on the other end. Three structures were constructed as out parcels. The Lisa H. Moore Counseling Center was constructed for a repeat client and was designed to blend into their campus design. The facility is a one-stop-shop for mental health patients in Southwest Virginia. The facility provides office space and medical office exam rooms, a pharmacy, offices, meeting and counseling rooms. The structure includes a radius entry way with glass walls, skylights, and fireplaces, columns and doors retained from the original structure on the site.  ...

This design build project accommodates sales and service areas for Friendship Ford.  The construction project began with the demolition of the former auto auction. The conventionally framed building’s facade features a diverse selection of harmonious exterior materials including horizontal ribbed panels, ACM (aluminum composite materials), textured concrete masonry units and glass curtain walls. The interior features porcelain tiled floors, glassed walled offices, an extensive parts and service area, and a mezzanine with training rooms....

This design build project accommodates sales and service areas for Blue Ridge CJDR. This structure includes display areas for Jeep and CDR as well as sales offices: retail sales, parks, and services areas; and a car wash. This warehouse addition was constructed to allow additional space for storage. The 360’ x 180’ addition has an eave height ranging from 18’10” to 23’10” to follow the ridge line of the existing building.
