This project involved construction of a new office/garage for AEP. A second building as well as gas pumps/canopy were also part of the project. The building functions as the office for the engineer, forester, safety coordinator and crew leader and crews, and linemen.
The building provides space for maintaining vehicles and equipment and truck and equipment storage. It is a pre-engineered metal building with a stone veneer entrances.
This project was constructed on a reclaimed mine site. This land is in an area known as Southern Gap and was mined for decades and later re-mined to remove remaining wall to create a flat area for development.
