The Walnut Square shopping center project involved the redevelopment of a former K-Mart. The K-Mart store was converted into an Ulta, Ross, and PetSmart. A new Food City grocery store was constructed on one end of the former K-Mart and an additional store front constructed on the other end. Three structures were constructed as out parcels. The project involved installation of an extensive underground storm water detention facility which created additional buildable area for an outparcel.
